CORONA CASH TACTIC 4: Providing online services for small businesses

How easy is it to sell water to somebody dying of thirst in the desert? Its just as easy to make money with the technique I am going to show you today, where help businesses that are suffering because of lock down, and making money from it.

Most small businesses have either closed or are closing and struggling during lockdown or social distancing. The reason for this is that they rely on people going to their shops, which they cant during lock down. So now is a great opportunity for you to market to those struggling businesses and help them to get their businesses online, or provide other online related services to them.

The only businesses that are still making money are those that can operate from home and making money taking orders through websites. There are still many small businesses that do not have a good online presence, who are not marketing on facebook, or who do not have an ecommerce website that can take orders.

So here are the steps to cash in with this:

1. Search for small businesses that do not have a any website, fb page and/or google business page. Or people who have these, but doesnt look very professional or do not have the functionality to take orders etc. Can basically be any type of business that can benefit from having a better website, a fb page, and a google business page.

2. Now contact those businesses and let them know that you understand its difficult for them to make money during this crisis, but that there is a way for them to get back into business, and a way to help them make even more sales when lock down is finished. The answer is a bigger online presence. That is the reason why some of their competitors are still making money and they are not. Then sell them on why they need those 3 things.
– Website, to advertise their business, that people can find on google when searching for them, or also for taking orders. People can place orders of items or services during lockdown, and then they get their items after lock down, thus the cash flow keeps coming in.
– Facebook page – everything is about social media these days. If they have a fb page, they can have frequent social media posts related to their business, build their following, have contests, and also use facebook ads to market their products to their target market. FB ads are very specific. can target anyone in any area, intersted in anything.
– Google Business page – is important for people finding them on google, giving info about them, showing where on the map they are etc.
Do your own research on the benefits of these. You can do a short write up of the benefits of each of these, and then send to your prospects. You can search some of their competitors who has these online things, and show them how they ar losing out.

3. Now you need to sell and provide these services to them. But HOW, if you dont know anything about this? Simply go to fiverr.com and outsource these tasks. You can get a good website designed and made for less than R3000 and charge the customer R10,000. You can create a fb page very easily, but if you cant, outsource it for R300, and charge R1000 for it. For google business page the same. And you can upsell the client with many additional complimentary services. SEO for their website, google ads, facebook ads, social media manager making fb posts. all these things you can outsource to other people for cheap.

For some of these things you can charge a monthly fee, so get the client once and make passive income month after month.

The above are just a few ideas. Feel free to think of more ideas of things you can sell people to help them during this crisis time. Now is the time to sell online related things to people, as everyone is realizing that being able to make money online is much easier and better in this economic crisis time.

Please share with your friends. Hopefully somebody will take the time to try this and make some money.
